6 Mukhi Rudraksha (Chhah Mukhi Rudraksha)

Description

In chakra healing traditions and Rudraksha therapy (such as Rudraksha Ratna Chakra Therapy), the 6 Mukhi Rudraksha (Chhah Mukhi) is primarily aligned with the Muladhara Chakra (Root Chakra) and also strongly influences the Swadhisthana Chakra (Sacral Chakra).

1. Primary Centers: Muladhara (Root) and Swadhisthana (Sacral)

• Muladhara Chakra (Grounding & Stability): The bead anchors the physical and subtle body to the earth element (Prithvi Tattva), building a stable foundation, physical stamina, and security

• Swadhisthana Chakra (Vitality & Creative Energy): Located in the lower abdomen, this center governs vital drive and emotional fluidity. The 6 Mukhi bead helps balance passionate impulses, transmuting raw energy into disciplined action

2. Presiding Deity & Astrological Influence

• Lord Kartikeya (Skanda / Murugan): The 6 Mukhi bead embodies Lord Kartikeya, the six-faced (Shanmukha) commander of divine forces and son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati . Kartikeya represents strategic intellect, youthful vigor, supreme discipline, and victory over adversity.

• Conquering the Six Inner Enemies (Shadripu): Classical lore attributes to this bead the power to master the six primary vices of the mind:

  1. Lust (Kama)

  2. Anger (Krodha)

  3. Greed (Lobha)

  4. Delusion/Attachment (Moha)

  5. Pride/Ego (Mada)

  6. Jealousy (Matsarya)

• Planetary Ruler — Mars (Mangal): In Vedic astrology, the bead is ruled by Mars, the planet of courage, drive, initiative, and physical energy. It helps mitigate the adverse effects of Mangal Dosha while infusing the aura with constructive dynamism.

3. Chakra Healing & Energetic Mechanics

• Eliminating Mental Inertia & Lethargy: An imbalanced root or sacral center often causes chronic fatigue, procrastination, lack of motivation, and passive escapism. The 6 Mukhi bead stimulates vital energy (Prana), restoring focus, proactive drive, and stamina.

• Confidence & Oratorical Poise: In the Padma Purana, wearing the 6 Mukhi is said to make a person bold in assemblies and clear in speech, removing stage fright, nervousness, and timidity.

• Emotional Grounding: It anchors turbulent emotional energy, preventing rash impulsive reactions while fostering steady problem-solving.

4. Holistic & Subtle-Body Healing Dimensions
